More than that tho I am talking about how right now we can open all the strong boxes we want and sell most of the proceeds and soon we will be able to just buy up boosters and BPOs and sell those for even more proceeds.
The simple fact is that the strength being in the hands of those who did nothing but exploit PC in the past is rapidly escaping them. There are now more ways to make ISK than farming districts or being a ringer and guys like dy5t0pia who are so stuck in the past and in making them self look good as oppose to playing the game and having a good time are going to feel this more and more as things progress.
If I have to spend $20 on strong boxes to send another attack someones way that is fine with me and I am sure CCP will love that as well. I can tell you I care less about $20 out of my pocket than you do about 100 million ISK that you are so proud to have farmed from broken mechanics.
EDIT: As far as him losing billions it comes down to the simple economics of him buying clone pack after clone pack and paying ringer after ringer. They can all say how he did not pay anything on these battles but that is a situation that is unsustainable. Are the ringers going to keep flowing in for free when they have better battles to be in? What about when they are getting begged to come support him on timers that are not in their best times?
I am now only on a mission to make him lose every penny he has and no matter what it will happen as long as he keeps trying to look special when he has no one helping him. We can easily have a battle of the credit cards too under the situations I described above but is he really going to outspend 20 - 30 people to keep fielding ringers against clone packs that were purchased by dumping a couple of strong boxes or boosters?
Logistics is totally on my side and this entire time he has only been talking out of his ass which him doing out of turn is what started the whole thing in the first place.
Now, this is very interesting, because i made this argument for HvLP existence originally. "New money will mean more soon."
Problem is, that soon is still some time away, and even with the new currencies being added, it doesn't change the fact that ISK isn't the reason the top corps are keeping the others on there knees.
It's connection, meta, and fucks given. - three things none of you new groups have done anything about.
If one group is threatened enough - they cry for another, and together they're likely to overwhelm anyone else. So a trend continued for a while *About 2 years* that top corps constantly reached out to each other, got to know each other, enemies become neutral, neutral become allies, allies become enemies, and relationships split into different direction so often that the 'fence' we were all so used to building eventually got torn down and turned into park where people flew in any direction they felt like.
The average relationship between corps is so blurred now because members are loyal to concepts outside of just corps - but to players themselves.
Meta - the old blood of this game continue to be the loudest voice towards CCP - all the changes this game goes through goes through a good many of us first, so we're up to date before the patch notes even are, even though we're mostly left in the dark ourselves. But our actual involvement in this game goes so much further then your own. It leads to another disadvantage logistically.
As we've been here for nearly 4 years, do you really believe we kept on top by twiddling our thumbs? We've **** on each other so often it's common place, and when new blood comes and acts like he knows something we don't, it paints a bullseye most groups will enjoy thoroughly.
And i highly doubt Dystopia spent anywhere near 500milliion on PC - I knew him back when he was active, and he didn't just throw ISK at ringers and clone packs, I don't think he even paid ringers that often. Paying for ringers these days when we're all rich is just, lol.
Also, Red Omens sucks ****. LEave Cobra now if you have any self-respect. |
